Step 1: Create Cloudflare Account

  • Go to https://cloudflare.com
  • Sign up for free account

Step 2: Connect Git Repository

Step 3: Create Cloudflare Pages Project

  3. Click "Create a project"
  4. Connect to GitHub
  5. Select repository: ocooee/aibook
  6. Configure build settings:
Framework preset: MkDocs
Build command: mkdocs build
Build output directory: site
Environment variables (optional):

Step 4: Configure Custom Domain

  1. After initial deployment, go to Pages project settings
  2. Navigate to "Custom domains"
  3. Click "Set up a custom domain"
  4. Enter: aibook.ocooee.com
  5. Follow DNS configuration instructions:
  6. Add CNAME record: aibook.ocooee.comaibook.pages.dev
  7. Or use Cloudflare proxy (recommended)

Step 5: Verify Deployment

Create API Token:

  1. Go to Cloudflare Dashboard: https://dash.cloudflare.com
  2. Navigate to ProfileAPI Tokens
  3. Click "Create Token"
  4. Select "Edit Cloudflare Workers" template
  5. Customize permissions:
  6. Account → Cloudflare Pages → Edit
  7. Account → Cloudflare Workers → Read (optional)
  8. Click "Continue to summary""Create Token"
  9. Copy the token immediately (won't show again)

Add to GitHub Secrets:

  1. Go to your repo: https://github.com/ocooee/aibook
  2. Navigate to SettingsSecrets and variablesActions
  3. Click "New repository secret"
  4. Add these secrets:

8.5 DNS Configuration for Custom Domain

If using Cloudflare DNS:

  1. Go to Cloudflare Dashboard → DNS
  2. Add CNAME record:

Proxy status: Proxied (orange cloud)
TTL: Auto

If using external DNS:

  1. Add CNAME record at your DNS provider:

Name: aibook.ocooee.com
Value: aibook.pages.dev

  1. In Cloudflare Pages settings:
  2. Go to Custom domains
  3. Click "Verify" next to aibook.ocooee.com
  4. Wait for DNS propagation (may take up to 24 hours)
